Fall/Winter Studio Happenings

I hope everyone’s summer went well and those of you who came to class enjoyed the Tai Chi Ruler system of exercise.

This Fall we will be putting aside Tai Chi Ruler and returning to a more fundamental practice.  I will be introducing Yi Quan Qigong during the first half of each class and with a dedicated class on Fridays at 9am.  It’s a system of healing movements and dynamic meditations for a supple energized body, balanced emotions and an awakened mind.  It follows all the principles of Tai Chi without long challenging movements to remember and retains the health, longevity and martial benefits.

During the Tai Chi portion of each class we continue to study the traditional Yang 24 form in the weekday morning classes, the Wu style 30 movement short form in the weekday evening classes, and the Wu style long and quick forms and basic push hands drills during Saturday morning classes.

New students are always welcome and I offer private lessons outside of the normal public schedule of classes.

Please call/text me at (203) 470-4669 or email sifu523@gmail.com for more information or to reserve your spot in class.

Stay well and remember to practice!
