Traditional Tai Chi Quan comes to Brookfield Parks & Rec

Learn the Wu Style Tai Chi Quan short form.

This simplified version of Wu style Tai Chi Quan has 30 unique groups of movements and takes 8 minutes to perform.  Tai Chi Quan is a open fist system (Chinese boxing) that blends softness with energetic movement in accordance with the theory of Yin and Yang energies. The slow gradual movements are rooted in ancient traditional Chinese Medicine to help reduce stress, increase balance, core strength and greatly improve overall health.  It’s a gentle, low-impact exercise suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
