If you never took Tai Chi and were always interested or you’d like to experience it again, this class is for you!
Tai Chi Quan for Beginners class starts on Friday, 4/21 at 6:30pm and runs for 6 continuous weeks. Each 90 minute class introduces the classic standing meditation pose, “Embrace the Tree”, traditional qi gong stretching and the Tai Chi Quan short or ‘simplified’ form. The short form is a collection of movements performed with slow, graceful form that will leave you feeling energized and refreshed! Perfect for those looking to reduce stress and anxiety, and increase balance and leg/core strength.
The classes are being held in the Center Elementary School gym in Brookfield. The gym is directly accessible from the parking lot via a separate entrance and has plenty of windows to provide ventilation and more than ample space (a full court gym) to practice with a lot of head room (20+ feet). A great place to hold classes.
